Questions donors ask
How many goats are needed for Aqiqah?
Two goats for a boy and one for a girl is the stronger Sunnah, as reported in hadith. One goat for a boy is also accepted by scholars if two are not affordable.
When should Aqiqah be done?
Preferably on the seventh day after birth. If missed, the fourteenth or twenty-first day, or any later day, is acceptable.
Will I get proof of the sacrifice?
Yes. We send a video on WhatsApp after the sacrifice. Tick the video option in the form so we know where to send it.
Can I donate from outside Pakistan?
Yes. Overseas donors in the UK, UAE, USA, Canada and Saudi Arabia can book through WhatsApp and pay by bank transfer.
Where does the meat go?
It is distributed among poor and needy families in Karachi. For Aqiqah you may also keep a share, but we distribute the full amount unless you ask otherwise.
